Hello everyone!

I wanted to start with another reminder about student camp!

Upcoming Events

Camp this year will only be for high school students; 9th grade through 12th grade and graduated seniors.  We are hoping with the smaller group and tighter range of ages we will be better able to teach and disciple our students. Camp this year will take place from July 28th – August 1st. Cost for camp is 250$ per student. Our summer camp theme is “Rooted” from Colossians 2:6-7. Daniel, Patrick, Ryan, and I will all be speaking a night at camp this year!

Since our middle school students will be left out from our camp this year, we are instead encouraging them to attend Old Faithful Christian Ranch in Island Park. If needed, we have scholarship help available to help our middle school students attend that summer camp.

Small groups have officially wrapped up, and we are moved to our summer schedule for Wednesday night youth group. We will be meeting each Wednesday for the month of June, except for June 25th which is the week of VBS. We will not have any breaks from Sunday morning youth this month.

Teaching

I recently began our series on the book of Titus on Wednesdays, and we will be finishing up our study of Daniel on Sundays at the end of this month. It has been encouraging to work through these books and passages with students that hit on topics like godly authority, the role and hope of Bible prophecy, and the faithfulness of God even when he allows suffering and sin to take place. I encourage you parents to be interacting and asking your students about what they are learning and discussing in youth! And as always, you are more than welcome to sit in on any lesson we are teaching.

Prayer

Lastly, I covet your prayers for the youth ministry. As summer begins and camp approaches, so does the need to recruit youth leaders for the coming fall, and the need to begin to materialize our plans to split 7th-8th grade. It will be a busy summer but Lord-willing one full of discipleship and Spirit-wrought fruit among our youth. Your encouragement, feedback, prayers, and fellowship are all wonderful blessings to me, and I am thankful for you all.
