Retreat Review

Many thanks to the 80+ of you who attended - and served at - our women’s retreat in Burley! — including our teaching team (Jenni Kay, Alyssa Senner, Marianne Wallin, Michele Moore), our mistress of ceremonies (Leigh Thomas), our Saturday free time coordinator (Megan Camp), our volunteer table leaders, and our wonderful, on-the-spot worship team (Bryony Kiker and Tolla Zglobicki). I hope you were blessed by our fellowship and our time together in the book of Colossians!

All women are invited to join us next week on Tuesday, Oct. 15th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 12, where Kathryn Hickinbotham will lead us in a discussion on “Hospitality in Suffering”. (Aren’t you curious about how these go together? I am)!

Last month, we kicked off the year with a focus on our new core values in the women’s ministry: honesty, kindness, pursuit, growth, and unity — and how this last one became our ‘core’ core value and informed our new name.

We invite women of every age and stage to gather on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (between September and May). Contact Leigh Thomas (208-206-6620) with questions.

Local Event: Beth Moore Simulcast

Save the Date

Our annual Christmas gathering will occur on Saturday, December 14th from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the worship center. Please plan to join us for a program centered on the nativity story and the wonderful, familiar carols that celebrate the birth of our Savior!

. . . and don’t forget about our upcoming Worship Night this Friday, Oct. 11th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Hope to see you there!
