I pray you are all doing well. Here is this month's newsletter for you all.  

Upcoming Events

On May 17th there will be a parent meeting hosted in room 12 after 2nd service. Most of this meeting is to discuss the plan for the coming youth ministry changes this fall, but we will also discuss summer camp. Lunch will be provided, and your kids are welcome!

 June 10th will be the date of our back-to-school party, and this is the same day when we are inviting graduated 6th graders (7th grade in the fall) to come up and join youth group!

Below are the links for registering for summer camp and signing up to help chaperone during some of our youth nights on Wednesdays. If you know already that your students will be attending our summer camp, please sign them up soon! This helps us to get a better estimate before we order camp t-shirts next month.

Teaching

On Wednesdays we are approaching the halfway mark in our progress through the book of 2 Timothy. As Paul exhorts Timothy in the letter, we have been encouraging students to learn to cling to Christ and his Word to sustain them in all of life. This will be our final series on Wednesday until we hit summer.

On Sunday, we have wrapped up 1 Thessalonians, and I have moved on to a new series in which we are teaching through select passages where Christ is prophesied or appears in the Old Testament. Last Sunday, we started this series with Genesis 3:15-16 and had some awesome questions from and discussions with students!

Prayer

The two things at the top of my mind right now are summer camp, and meeting with/ training upcoming leaders and teachers for this fall.

Please be praying over the success and safety of summer camp (no broken bones this year, please) and primarily that the students would grow spiritually and benefit from the time of discipleship in Montana this summer.

You can also be praying that God would continue to bring more faithful and able volunteers to help with youth ministry this fall.
