Women’s Christmas Gathering

Thanks to all those who helped with and attended last Saturday’s women’s Christmas gathering! — and especially those who contributed the many hand-made items for sale that raised almost $3000 for The Shepherd’s Inn! Special mention goes to Jan (and Steve) Sperry, who led that effort; Carmen Peters and Sabrina Tolbertson, who created the gorgeous decorations and centerpieces; Bryony Kiker, who served as song leader; Lacey Osgood, who organized such beautiful music and carols with her stringed quintet; and Danielle Francis, who served as emcee for the event on short notice. A good time of fellowship and food ensued and it was a great celebration of Christ’s birth and kick-off to the holiday season!

Groups & Gatherings

A quick reminder that holiday schedules for all groups, classes, and other activities may change. Please reach out to the respective leaders to confirm meeting times and locations (and get in on any Christmas parties, of course)!

A specific note: Women’s Discipleship Night will be canceled in December and resume in January!

Save the Date!

You’ll want to reserve Friday evening, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb 3 for a weekend intensive - led by Leigh Thomas - on the Chronology and Characters of the Old Testament!

Don’t miss this engaging and interactive look at the timeline of the Old Testament and the chance to gain a new perspective on how God’s redemption plan unfolds. More details will follow next month!

Christmas Eve Service!

Since Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, we will be holding a combined, morning service at the Idaho Falls Civic Center (501 S. Holmes Ave.) at 11:00 a.m. on December 24. No services will be held at the main CCC campus that day.. Feel free to pick up some invite cards at the Welcome Desk in the grand hall this Sunday and use them to invite neighbors and friends!

CCC Holiday Hours

Just a quick reminder that the CCC church office will be closed from Friday, Dec. 22 to Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Join our CCC Women’s FB group

The purpose of the women’s ministry at Christ Community Church is to encourage, equip, and connect women of all stages and help them live out their calling as essential partners in fulfilling the Great Commission. To that end, the ministry will plan and implement programs and events that encourage women to glorify God and study His word, love and serve one another, form close bonds through Christian fellowship, and share the good news of the Gospel with those who have not yet embraced the saving grace of Jesus.
