Last of all, I want to give you guys an update on where we are at with teachings on Wednesday and Sundays. We are just finishing the book of Ecclesiastes on Sundays; I will be closing out the series on November 2nd with chapter 12. Coming up next is the book of Ephesians, which I chose as I am excited to teach on the unity that we are called, commanded, and enabled to have as brothers and sisters in Christ, and what is looks like to live as a family under God. On Wednesdays we are still carrying on through the book of Acts, which will take us to the end of the calendar year. Throughout the series, I have been encouraging students to read their Bibles at home and follow along the story of Acts, as it is impossible to cover every verse of the 28 chapters in the time we have. I encourage you all to be engaging your students about the lessons and content we are covering. On Thursday mornings I have been leading a Bible study for student’s 10th grade and up. We are currently working through the book Discipleship by Mark Dever. I have a few extra copies if any of you would like to pick them up, for yourself or your student. It is a very practical and straightforward read, and really makes clear what discipling looks like in practice, not just theory.
