Spring Quarter 2026

A Note from Trisha

Firstly, I want to send my heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful gals who came out for our Find Your People event! It was a joy to see so many of us gathering to meet new friends and learn new faces. I pray we each take to heart Jan’s admonishment to never cease our investment into new friendships. And for those who were unable to attend, I am not forgetting you. Our challenge was to initiate a coffee date or exchange phone numbers with a new acquaintance. I invite you to do the same! You might find this little book a great resource for conversation starters and removing some of the awkwardness in asking those first questions (so much more fun than our standard, “So, what do you do?”).

Secondly, happy spring!

We hardly had a winter, but the sunshine still feels good on my face and I’m looking forward to flowers in my garden. I must confess, springtime is my least favorite season. Growing up on the coast of California in the middle of an evergreen forest, spring never meant much. And while moving to Idaho did show me the joy of seasons (snow at Christmas is the best!), Idaho Falls also showed me that knowing how to spell wind is not the same thing as experiencing it. Oi vey!

However, as I grow in my joy of the Lord, the pleasure of this season also increases. Spring always brings the celebration of Easter! We get to watch newness of life bursting forth all around us; and we commemorate that first witness of the empty tomb. This Easter, I wish to remind us of the value that Jesus placed upon us, dear sisters, by His decision to reveal Himself to women first. Jesus loved us and solidified our position as co-heirs in the righteousness of Christ along with our brothers in the Lord (Gal 3:26–29). I pray that you are each able to see the great miracle of Christ’s resurrection power at work in your salvation. He has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light (Col 1:13–14), making you a new creation in the Lord (2 Cor 5:17). Praise Jesus!

Women’s Precept Study

Paula Haldy leads an intrepid group of women through the Bible using materials and methods from Kay Arthur’s Precept Ministries. They meet at Christ Community Church on Thursdays at 9am. This inductive Bible study class is for women of all ages and class is available in-person and via Zoom. Click here for more info.

Mom Tribe

If you are looking for a place to let your little ones burn off their energy while enjoying warm conversation and other moms, please consider attending Mom Tribe. They meet in the sanctuary of Christ Community Church on Mondays at 9:30. For more info, click here.

comeUNITY

Our women’s comeUNITY night shared in corporate worship at our last event. It was beautiful to sing to the Lord with other sisters in Christ. Leigh Thomas has gathered a wonderful group of contributors who will share their testimonies at our upcoming meeting on April 21 at 7pm.
