Important dates:

March 29th : Kids church skit day

April 5th : Easter Sunday 

• 8:00 am: Nursery - Kindergarten only

• 9:45 am: Nursery - 6th grade (normal "1st service")

• 11:30 am: Nursery - 4th grade (normal "2nd service")

• Egg hunt after 11:30 service

April 17th : Respite night

April 19th & 26th : Ministry Fair

May 3rd : Kids church skit day

May 3rd : Children’s Ministry Appreciation Lunch 

May 17th : Last regular Sunday school day of the year

May 24th : Nursery - Kindergarten Only - Memorial Day

Kid’s Ministry, Middle school & Youth Group

As many of you know, Josh Hoy, the Pastoral Assistant who is over Youth Ministry, mentioned in his newsletter that we are undergoing preparation to finalize our plans to split the high school and middle school into two groups this coming fall. This means that kid’s ministry will eventually be Nursery - 5th grade only. The 6th graders will “move up” to middle school with the 7th and 8th grade kids, all under Josh Hoy. Over the next few months, we will be communicating a detailed plan on what to expect from these changes, which will be implemented at the start of the new school year in the fall.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Monday 6/22 - Friday 6/26

Hooray! It’s time to charge into medieval times! This year our schedule will be Monday - Thursday 6-8:15pm and a FESTIVE FINALE on Friday the 26th where the entire church is invited to see what we learned about how to be part of God’s kingdom and wear the armor of God. From 6-6:45pm and then FEAST together at our all church BBQ until 8:30pm.

Lords and Ladies are welcome to sign up to volunteer HERE. Volunteers and their families are feed a ROYAL meal nightly from 5-5:45pm, families who have little ones (0-3+) may also take advantage of the nursery options (for volunteers only).

Many members of the kingdom have asked for an Amazon wishlist in order to contribute to our Medieval event and I aim to please, so here you will find a WISHLIST of items that will be used for art, science, crafts and snacks for the 150+ children that will attend this festival.

Ways to pray ~

• That the teachings will bring glory to God.

• That all the VBS volunteers will experience growth in their relationship with the Lord through this event.

• For safety, protection and good health for the volunteers and their families.

• That more kids will be reached with the gospel than EVER before, and that many will become Christians!

• That every child will be in awe of the Lord much more as a result of this VBS.

So now prepare to step back in time, embark on the journey, and partake in one royally fun time! HUZZAH!
