The Purtzers are missionaries near Guatemala City, Guatemala where, since 2011, they have been involved in making disciples of Jesus Christ. Nate trains pastors and leaders for the Spanish-speaking world primarily by teaching Bible at Central American Theological Seminary (el Seminario Teológico Centroamericano). Ruth Ann's ministry focus is at home where she supports Nate as well as homeschools and raises their eight children: Silas, Shiloh, Eden, Eve, Simon, Shadrach, Susannah, and baby on the way.
