What voices have our attention? Are the talking heads of the world guiding our thoughts and perspectives, or is God’s voice anchoring our souls in truth? Are we viewing our circumstances through the character of God or God through our circumstances?
We hope and pray the Lord’s voice will comfort, guide, and lead us into the joy and assurance we long for. Pastor Jeff challenged us to question our dependence and commitment to news, media, and the insatiable need to know everything. In the place of those voices, join us as we read through Acts together. As a church, we’ll learn the Gospel’s journey from a band of 120 believers in Jerusalem to a message of life delivered to Caesar in Rome. That journey is an invaluable testimony of God’s good, loving, and sovereign guidance over his church. A journey filled with opposition, confusion, mercy, excitement, and glory.
