2024 Women’s Retreat

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 10, 2024


ATTENDEES: The event is for women who attend CCC and their guests. If you would like to invite someone personally, (e.g., a neighbor, friend, etc.), please do so.

AGENDA: The event will begin on Friday at 6:30 p.m. with a reception, worship, the first speaking session, and table discussions. Saturday activities will include additional speaking sessions, table discussions, worship, and free time. Dinner on Friday (before the event) and Saturday will be on your own. We will hold our last worship and speaking session on Sunday morning and conclude by lunchtime.

COST: Registration cost will be $45 per person (including youth), plus lodging, arranged on your own with the hotel, at a group rate of $98, plus taxes, per night. The cost to register is $45, whether you will be in attendance for the entire time or only a partial time. Most rooms include two queen beds and can accommodate four women if you choose to share the space and cost with others. Registration includes all event sessions, materials, and three meals: breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and lunch on Saturday. (See below for menu items and ingredients).

HOW TO PAY: You may pay the registration fee in one of 4 ways:

  1. Online: Pay below using the link provided.

  2. Cash (via the Sunday morning offering): Place cash in an envelope and mark it with your name (and the names of anyone else you are paying for) and “Women’s Retreat”.

  3. Check (via the offering): Write “Women’s Retreat” on the memo line of your check (along with the names of anyone else you are paying for).

  4. Venmo: @CCC-idahofalls; please note your name and the names of anyone else you are paying for in the notes/comments section before submitting.

You may choose to complete the below registration form online, but pay using one of the options above.
All payment and registration information must be received on/by the Sept. 10 deadline.
Remember that - while you will pay CCC for the cost of your registration - you will pay the hotel directly when you book your room.

LODGING: To make, change, or cancel room reservations, contact the hotel at the number above and identify yourself with our event (“CCC” or Christ Community Church”) to obtain the group rate. CCC is not responsible for reserving or revising your accommodations or providing roommates. All reservations must be made by Sept. 15th. Special requests for ground floor, connecting, and/or accessible rooms should be made at the time you book and cannot be guaranteed. (The hotel recommends calling again 2-3 days prior to remind them of your preferences). Check-in is at 4:00 p.m.; check-out is at 11:00 a.m., (meaning that you will need to check out before the AM session on Sunday). Please review the email you receive from the hotel after booking your room(s) for additional lodging policies.

YOUTH ATTENDANCE: Youth girls ages 12 and up are invited to attend the retreat with parental permission. *** Waiver forms are required for all youth attendees. Click here to complete a waiver form if this applies to you. ***

MENU & MEAL INGREDIENTS: Participants have the option of enjoying the breakfast buffets provided on Saturday and Sunday or visiting the free breakfast room at the hotel for other offerings. Below are the meal items and ingredients:

  • Saturday Breakfast:  Breakfast sandwiches with cheese, eggs, sausage, or bacon on croissants; fruit (cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, grapes, oranges); coffee, tea, water.

  • Saturday Lunch:  Chicken noodle (noodles, chicken, carrots, onions, celery), Vegetable (mixed vegetables), or Potato (cream, potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, optional bacon) soup with sandwich (wheat bread with turkey and Swiss or ham and cheddar with lettuce and tomato); coffee, tea, water.

  • Sunday Breakfast: Biscuits and sausage gravy with bacon, scrambled eggs, and fruit (same as above); coffee, tea, water.

If you choose to eat elsewhere, there are several local options and a Perkins Restaurant on-site. Please indicate below if you will require gluten-free/dairy-free menu options and they will be requested (along with allergen labels for all food items) but cannot be guaranteed. If you require a special diet, you should plan to bring food along and can store it in your room (which comes with a mini-frig).

SAT. DINNER: Saturday dinner this year will be on your own. (For those of you who have never been to Burley, it’s not exactly known for its culinary delights, so you may wish to identify a place to go ahead of time). There is a Perkins restaurant on site for those who prefer not to leave the premises.

DEADLINE: Registration will run from August 18 to September 10. You must register on or before September 10 to attend the retreat. Refunds (of the $45 registration fee) will be given until September 15. All lodging cancelations are subject to the policies of the Burley Inn & Conference Center.
